Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act Program
The Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act (APSA) applies to owners and operators with a total storage capacity of 1,320 gallons or more of petroleum at a facility. The main purpose for the APSA program is to verify that tank facilities have prepared and implemented a Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan.

Hi, how can you best prepare/ what can you expect for a trainee interview?
Hey Heidi, It’s a 2 to 3 round process depending on how many people apply for the Job opening. Interviews are typically 1 hour long in front of a small panel of 3 or 4 people. As far as preparing… I would first make sure you bring / have your letter for CDPH that states you are eligible to work as a trainee. Also, familiarize yourself with our website / programs and the job duties of an Environmental Health Specialist / inspector. Link to our website: rivcoeh.org/
